What do you do when your hard drive dies or is so small it is no longer useful? Easy, rip it apart and make something cool out of it! Here are 5 ideas to get you started.

What I do with dead hdd:
1) remove cover and put it a hdd box (plastic stuff) so it can look good on my shelves
2) get some heavy bricks, an axe, a hammer and a beitelkeuh and try to remove the platters. It wasn't realy easy, because I did that with a SCSI drive with hex screws everywhere and no screwdriver that could remove them :grum: .
