Default The three reasons why AMD acquired ATI

WE HAD a chance to talk to a nice chap called Mario Rivas who happens to be an Executive Vice President, Computing Products Group at AMD. We had a chance to ask him a few questions and one of my key ones was why the company acquired ATI.

1) AMD cares about graphics = AMD loves to have your money
2) Get to consumer business = the result of 1)
3) Power efficient processor = 1) and 2)

The problem is AMD stock price dropped more than half in the last 10 months.

AMD

PE doesn't mean anything; been buying/selling stock since 1974. Look at
Apple

Better yet Nvidia -
