Thermalright read for Fermi: HR-03 GT(X) & Spitfire Mounting kit

Since the release of nVIDIA’s GF100 (Fermi), there were guesses from the public, all hoping nVidia could again be the top dog of graphic performance, as we get closer to its release date , we have received first hand news about the GF100 chip and its PCB design, high power consumption of Fermi chip will be unavoidable

We have measured the required mounting specs , for it to have the best compatibility with our VGA cooler,as we will be releasing the latest (GTX-470/480) VGA BTK / VRM solution with fastest pace, but as on how much overclocking over the GF100 chip to the highest performance?, we leave it in the hands of extreme gamers.

Im not sure if something is getting lost in the translation, but does that graph mean that the HR-03 GT will fit if I get the new mounting kit? Thats what Ive got cooling my 8800GT right now, so if I can just swap coolers with a cheap(er) mounting kit, that may up the likely hood of actually buying one of these eventually. Otherwise, I may just end up with a 5850. I had nothing but problems with my last 2 ATI cards though, 9700 Pro AIW and x1600, and Im kind of hesitant to try again..

you need:
- *GF 100 VGA BTK
- *VRM GTX 4x0

to fit HR-03 GT on the GF100 cards :)
but don't think it will be better than the stock cooling, especially that of the GTX 480 is very powerful.

Yeah, compared to the stock cooling on the 8800GT, the cooling on 470/480's are much better, but I think the HR-03 GT has a high enough surface area to cool the GPU even more than the stock solution on the 470, which I would be getting. At the very least it would be quieter since I have mine rigged up with a decent 120mm fan, the downside being that it wont evacuate the hot air out the back of the case.

you'd be better of with Spitfire which has more surface area:)
