Thermalright introduces SI-97, Athlon XP heatsink based on XP-90 * Multiple heatpipes for well spread heat around aluminum fins * Enormous wingspan gives extra cooling to surrounding components * Soldered fins to copper base (nickel plated) to make effective contact * Light weight and easy installation http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/m...oduct_si97.htm |
They found the way to lower material cost (copper to alum) yet maintaining or may well increasing performance. Good for Thermalright.:) Lighter too.:D |
I got still that crapy sp97 :D |
You'd be surprised with CV. I use cheap heatsinks with the expensive ones for testing only.:) |
