Thecus NAS to Support New Seagate 5 TB HDD

Network attached storage expert Thecus is pleased to announce that the Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5" 5TB HDD is confirmed compatible with the entire Thecus NAS line. Early hands-on access to these high-capacity HDDs was made possible through Thecus's continued close relationship with Seagate.

With their 5TB breakthrough, Seagate Enterprise Capacity drives are among the highest-capacity drives available for enterprise-class purposes. And with enhanced efficiency thanks to PowerChoice host-selectable power options and robust performance coming from dual processors and ramp load technologies, the 35% average sustained increase of throughput over previous generations is almost palpable.
