Do you think you can ever have to large of a power supply inside your case? My personal opinion is no, not when there is a good chance that after one hard drive gets full I will simply add another into the system so I am not forced to take the take the time to reload everything. If you need 8 hard drives when large capacity HDD is so inexpensive, you have a obsessive disorder behavior, go see a doctor because one day you need 3KW power supply. :D

I think you hook up more than 8 HDDs on a 1.3KW PSU:)
