Synology Unveils DiskStation Manager 4.2 Beta
 

Synology today announced the beta availability of DiskStation Manager (DSM) 4.2. Synology continues to bring storage efficiency to virtual environment and data center. LUN Snapshot creates up to 256 snapshots per LUN with minimal storage space and no impact on performance. Virtual copies of data can now be replicated instantly with LUN Clone without compromising performance or demanding additional storage space, creating identical deployments in different environments quickly and effortlessly.
