SUPERMICRO PRESENTS NEW SUPERO X299 MOTHERBOARD

On Tuesday May 30th 2017, SUPERMICRO presented the new high-end desktop / workstation C7X299-PG at the IT trade show Computex in Taiwan. This product is targeted at the high-end user, ultra 4K gamer, hardware enthusiast and the professional workstation user requiring unprecedented performance for demanding workloads. We're now closing in on the actual launch, so stay tuned …

SUPERO C7X299-PG SERIES; NEW CPU SOCKET, NEW CHIPSET, NEW DESIGN

REDESIGNED FROM THE GROUND UP

The new C7X299-PG has been completely redesigned from the ground up. It includes a new CPU socket (LGA 2066) for the new Intel© Core™ X-Series processor family. It supports up to 128GB DDR4 memory, four reinforced PCI-E slots, one Gbit and one 5Gbit LAN port, USB3.1a and c ports, two M.2 and two U.2 ports. In addition, the latest Realtek chip (ALC1220) powers the mesmerizing sound perfected by the Audio Amplifier.

This new ATX motherboard presents itself in a complete new cooling and IO-optimized design matching the latest trends in high-end component, workstation and gaming industry.

While the uncompromising design brings out the full potential of the latest Intel© Core™ X-series CPUs, the board has been engineered for optimized PCI-E performance giving it the ability to handle high-end workloads, superfast storage and crispy 4K graphics. The C7X299-PG is the most powerful SUPERO motherboard we have ever built.

The new series comes in two flavors:

C9X299-PG
C9X299-PGF – includes remote management via IPMI
