With Microsoft's Vista operating system and newer games like
Supreme Commander sucking up system resources, 2GB of system memory is
no longer a luxury, it's is fast becoming a necessity. However, not any
2GB kits will do the job, save for those running systems from Dell,
Gateway, etc. For them, they'll probably never know the difference or
benefits of a quality memory kit. But for those who pride themselves on
benchmarking and fine tuning their systems to the cutting edge, only
high octane components will do.
