| Steam survey shows AMD, Intel neck and neck A SURVEY BY VALVE after a Steam update appears to reveal that AMD is only marginally behind Intel in processors used. AMD appears to have 48.39% share, while Intel has 51.60%. Steam took down earlier results when wags reported their CPU types as AllYourBaseAreBelongToCPU and FakeIntel, helas. There's other most interesting facts and figures in the survey, including the amount of memory people have, network speeds, and the video card types people are using, along with the driver revs. There's not that many dual core CPUs out yet, and the survey shows 99% of people are still using single CPUs. http://theinquirer.net/?article=25336 Survey detail http://www.steampowered.com/status/survey.html

| Dual Core is Dual The Price, only a small % better the performance. So not worth the cost the fact that AMD is so close to Intel is Steam's stats is logical, A64 is the gamer's platform. I'm surprised Intel is still in the lead.
