 |  Star Trek 2 Filming has Begun Okay, Treckies, Treckers, freaks and geeks, time to get your Star Trek back on. It's official: The long awaited sequel to the re-start of the Star Trek franchise has begun filming. The cast is set, the script is written and the filming began last Thursday. The sci-fi adventure film will premiere on May 17th, 2013. You may now start your countdown clocks. "We are, at long last, ready to boldly go once again.
