| Star Fox: Assault Trying to capitalize on yet another of their golden franchises, Nintendo has returned with the second installment of the Star Fox franchise for the Gamecube in the form of Star Fox: Assault. The problem is that this game really doesn’t seem like a new game, but more like an add-on pack. The only gameplay mechanic new to the table is the ability to roam free in certain levels. While I do enjoy blasting things with the tank or even on foot, there are times I just wish that the Star Fox franchise would just return to its roots in space. Don’t expect the most innovative title on the market if you pick this up, but I will admit it is quite the enjoyable little game. URL: http://www.bytesector.com/data/bs-article.asp?id=458
