 |  Sony ZD9 Android TV review MediaTek powers the flagship Android TV Before we even start, I must note that the Sony ZD9 is a TV with the best picture quality I have ever seen. The MediaTek Quad-Core MT5832 ensures that Android TV 6.0.1 runs really well. The first time we saw the Sony ZD9 black levels, we figured that the Quantum Dot or Sony’s Backlight Master Drive is something that might bring a big change for the company in the TV business. Most technology savvy people will want to get a hold of this phenomenal TV. Back at CES 2016, Fudzilla saw a prototype of an Android TV powered by MediaTek’s SoC that was running Android 6.0 well.
