 |  Sony Teases New SmartWatch Ahead of Mobile Asia Expo Sony will be making an announcement next week at the Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai and is expected to reveal a new smartwatch. The rumors are all over the spectrum as to what new tech may be expected, but tech enthusiasts are hoping to see a much improved version over its previous offerings. If the announcement is made, Sony will beat Samsung, Intel and Apple to the table with the first of the next-gen smartwatches. Several tweets have appeared on the Sony Xperia account with the hashtags #itstime and #MAE13. One includes a teaser picture under the bold statement: "1/3 smartphone users want smart wrist wear."
