Default SLI become more open : Just to make buzz ?

Following the NVIDIA announcement of GeForce 6600 compatibility with SLI, we just decided to make some tests. But as we didn’t have any couple of similarly 6600 we just reviewed two 6800GT not in SLI mode, in SLI without bridge, and SLI with bridge.

The results of SLI passing through PCI Express port are not so good because we had performance drop up to 30 % in some cases.
