Sitecom launches a ForBusiness line-up
 

Sitecom is introducing the ForBusiness line, which is ideal for micro-businesses. Products from the ForBusiness line even allow entrepreneurs with no technical expertise to easily and quickly set up and expand a secure business network in order to share an internet connection, peripheral equipment and files (wirelessly or using cable).

Rotterdam (the Netherlands), October 2012 - Sitecom, a network specialist and developer of user-friendly solutions for home users, is launching a line geared towards the business market. Sitecom provides simplicity and ease of use as added values; the ForBusiness line consists of user-friendly solutions, clear communication on the packaging and easy manuals. This even allows businesses without an IT department or IT specialist to easily and quickly set up a secure company network and expand it as they see fit. It is ideal for (home) offices, for example, but also for hotels, restaurants, bars, pubs, schools, dental practices and studios. Within the ForBusiness line, Sitecom is launching the WLR-4002B Wirele ss Gigabit VPN Router N300 and 4 Gigabit switches with 5, 8, 16 or 24 ports.

VPN Router
The WLR-4002B Wireless Gigabit VPN Router N300 allows the end user to create a wireless network in no time, which is accessible via the Internet from any location. The Gigabit Router includes VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology and the intuitive installation wizard makes it easy to create a secure VPN tunnel. This gives entrepreneurs the freedom to access files stored in their company network anywhere and anytime via the Internet. Apart from an easy installation, the router provides preconfigured WPA2 security with a unique password and Sitecom Cloud Security protects all the connected devices in the company network from viruses and phishing while browsing.

Gigabit Switches
Sitecom is launching 4 ForBusiness Gigabit switches with 5, 8, 16 and 24 ports respectively; these are ideal for connecting equipment using a Gigabit cable network. Due to their throughput speeds of up to 1000 Mbps, the Gigabit models are highly suitable for heavy-duty applications, like transferring large files such as HD videos, large presentations, etc. The LN-142B 19" Network Giga Switch 16 port and the LN-143B 19" Network Giga Switch 24 port can be installed easily in a 19-inch rack. All four models have a power-saving function, reducing power consumption by up to 70%, have automatic stand-by and a detection function for the cable length. Additionally, no traffic is routed to inactive ports.

Warranty & availability
The WLR-4002B Wireless Gigabit VPN Router N300, LN-140B Giga Switch 5 port, LN-141B Giga Switch 8 port, LN-142B 19" Network Giga Switch 16 port and the LN-143B 19" Network Giga Switch 24 port are available now. Just like other Sitecom products, the ForBusiness solutions also have a 10-year warranty.
