 |  Shield K1 gets an Vulkan update Nvidia has just released an update to its K1 Shield tablet rolling out support for the fledgling Vulkan API. Vulkan should be the next big thing bringing a next gen graphics library for creating high performance applications. Of course it needs hardware to play on and Nvidia's support is pretty important. Last February, after the version 1.0 of Vulkan was released, NVIDIA updated its SHiELD console with support for the API to encourage developers to get on with creating apps for Vulkan.
