Seagate Sata2 320GB vs. Western Digital Sata 2 320GB

Upon receiving these two shiny new hard drives, I noticed the difference in packaging techniques used by each manufacturer. The Seagate comes sealed in an antistatic bag with the end of it folded and taped closed. The Western Digital drive, on the other hand, is in an antistatic bag with moisture gathering beads, and the bag is heat sealed on both ends, requiring you to cut the bag open.

some people fail so bad at reviews, it's just sad

90% of the users cannot notice those speed differences, but we all know which drive is the SPRC favourite with differences people can notice

Not only that : Anandtech came to the complete opposite conclusion a couple of weeks ago.

They're both decent drives. Get the one that's one that's on special ;)

depends on the user type which drive is best

1 or 3 year vs 5 year warranty... that's all I need to know. Well, that and also the only drives I've had fail on me to date were WDs. :P
