Scythe launches first PSU In Europe: Kamariki 4

Scythe Europe hereby officially announces the supply of the in-house developed Kamariki 4 Power Supply series. The early stage production samples were first displayed at this year’s CeBit in Hannover, Germany and gathered a lot of attention of visitors and press representatives.

The Kamariki series is entering the next level as the 4th version and is now available for the worldwide market. In Japan, Scythe is one of the market-leading brands for High-End Power Supplies and Cooling Components for many years where the essential experience and know-how is coming in which were gathered successfully over these years. Kamariki 4 PSU is available in a Plug-in (modular) version with detachable power cables for more convenience and also available in a standard version with non-detachable power cables. For better usability, 45 to 55 cm long cables are wrapped by robust and flexible mesh. Each version is available in 450, 550, and 650W models. In order to comply with market demands and the GreenIT movement, Scythe Kamariki 4 PSU Series are fully conform to 80Plus Standards (20/50/100% system load).

Original Scythe Kaze Jyu 100 mm fan is used to assure efficient cooling which was already implemented in successful CPU Cooler, such as Kama Cross, Mine and Katana 2. In order to achieve the silent operation of the Kamariki 4 PSU, the fan speed was optimized and adjusted to perfection. Even under conditions of full load, the Power Supply keeps a low noise level of 20,7 dBA (450 W), 23 dBA (450 W) 25,6 dBA (650 W). Furthermore it is possible to connect up to 3 case fans to the integrated Intelligent Fan Cable Connecter which will then adjust the fan speed according to the load of the Power Supply, and therefore improve the airflow inside PC Case when it is required.

Scythe Kamariki 4 Power Supplies are available immediately for the following MSRP:

$edit: Plug-In means Modular ;)

Using another word for modular can backfire, I know my local e-tailer offers this search option (you know who asked for it) and if his product managers do not understand that the product won't be listed if people look for modular PSUs.

I'm afraid this may be a language barrier issue, don't think they did this on purpose

Of course it is a mistake and not done on purpose, but it still can cost sales.
