Default Sapphire Dual X1950 Pro Video Card Tested

ven though solution of design of Sapphire seems very creative us and intelligent (the fact that the dissipator stays to an acceptable temperature is the clear test that the design of the PCB and the system of cooling is not an accidental work), the fact that this product appears when Directx9 gives his I complete sigh does that the real advantage to acquire a product of this type for the use day to day is not too much.

if CF/SLI of mid-range cards brings no good performance/price balance to the table, what chance has a dual GPU card? The 7950GX2 was a dual GPU card of the then high end 7950GTX, this card on the other hand is mid-range, and CF/SLI only gives you double the performance in rare occasions, with a price tag higher than wanted and performance lower than expected, this product is nice for Sapphire to show of their engineering skills but at the end of the day, this product is impossible to recommend, don't you think?

- high price
- low compatibility (only works in Crossfire-able motherboards)
- lower performance than true Crossfire
- it's DX9, with DX10 ATI cards around the corner.
