| Sandy Bridge E: Core i7 3930K and Core i7 3960X @ ocaholic Sandy Bridge E, this is the codename of Intels latest CPU generation which is based on an overworked Nehalem microarchitecture. We had the chance to test two of the upcoming CPUs, namely the Core i7-3930K and the Core i7-3960X. Intel claims that the new six core processors are faster than the previous generation of Core i7-9XX CPUs. The new models feautre a quad channel memory interface as well as new SSE Instructions. For us this is reason enough to be very curious if Intel is able to set a new benchmark in the industry. http://www.ocaholic.ch/xoops/html/mo...l_lang=english |
