 |  San Marino to get 5G in late 2018 Europe’s first Telecom Italia is promising that the Republic of San Marino is going to be the first 5G State in Europe. The plan will increase the power of the infrastructure, and the first “small cells” will be installed in the principal streets and piazzas around San Marino's historical centre. The testing of the 5G service will start within the next year but before that Telecom Italia wants to update the San Marino network to something it calls 4.5G - this means Gigabit LTE speeds (MIMO4x4), Carrier Aggregation and superior modulation and Cloud architecture. http://fudzilla.com/news/mobile/4411...g-in-late-2018 |
