Samsung Electronics, the world’s top maker of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) who has minor presence in the market of hard disk drives (HDDs), has quietly started to ship 1TB storage solutions that use much more advanced media that any other products of the kind on the market.

Oh wow... the bigger news is it only uses 3 platters! Technically they can add a 4th platter and launch a 1,334GB drive anytime they wish.
