Despite trying to expand

Samsung has been trying to expand its mobile processor business over the past year but a new report shows it is continuing to lose market share.

The latest report from Counterpoint Research claims that Samsung’s share in the mobile application processor (AP) market dropped by three percentage points to 13 percent in Q2 2020. This time last year it had 16 percent. Samsung’s market share declined in every region except North America, where its market share increased from nine percent to 16 percent.
