| Samsung 840 Evo SSD review: the entire series tested! With the Samsung 840 Evo series, Samsung addressed the main weak point of the 840 series. The faster controller and especially the TurboWrite technology have brought the write speed to the level of conventional MLC SSDs. The low price of the 840 series remains, however. Very few companies are able to rival the affordability of these SSDs. Plextor has the M5S, but the Crucial M500 is slightly more expensive. Now that the performance has improved, Samsung's position will be even stronger. http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/4661...-series-tested! |
