Radeon X850 Platinum Edition Review nVidia has not yet announced the clock-enhanced variant of the GeForce 6800 series, but today ATI shows their hand. The Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition, previously known by the codename R480, is a clocked-up version of the Radeon X800 series of cards. We put the new flagship product through its paces, so let's see how it performs. http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...129TX1K0000532 |
Gentlemen; Those are the boys making your wallets open in time for X'mas shopping. Disciplines; coordinated efforts; like a well trained army marching in column, rather charging to your doorsteps.:) I am wondering ..... when would THW release it's own. May be the thinking of "Let them young bulls charge; when the dust settles in 24-hour and they are all tired, I will get the cow all by myself". :D |
October 11, 2004 NVIDIA and ATi: Game Over THG has decided to take a stance on ATi's and NVIDIA's rush-to-market launches. Reviews of cards with pre-launch buggy drivers and yet-to-come updates do no service to the user. We explain why we will no longer play that game. http://www4.tomshardware.com/column/20041011/index.html |
Humm.... I missed that episode. Valid reason I must say. Reviewing hardware is to let the readers know the facts - consumer report kind of evaluation. Come to think of it ..... there is no need to compete in "who is first, second" ..... think of "who has the unbias, accurate, meaningful, useful and supportive revealing report". :D |
let all hardware reviewers only review products that are in-shop |
consumer report = products that are in-shop supported by calantak;) |
and what's this card all about? is this a speedbump? anyone's been running these speeds since day one of the x800xtpe's... in the old days, speedbump used to be SPEED-BUMPS |
no they weren't. Geforce 3 Geforce 3 Ti500 |
I stand utterly corrected :) |
