![]() | Radeon X1300 Pro: ATI's Newest Budget GPU What can we say, except that we're terribly disappointed in the Radeon X1300 Pro. It's really important that low-cost graphics cards deliver ever-increasing performance with each generation, even more so than the high-end cards. These are the cards that sell in really big numbers, and in order for 3D software to move forward, the cards in this price range need to make big leaps. The X1300 Pro doesn't make big leaps. In some ways, it's a step backward. The previous generation cards like the GeForce 6600GT with 128MB and the Radeon X700 Pro with 256MB are now down to a similar $150 price point, and are faster in almost all situations http://www.extremetech.com/article2/...1875357,00.asp
