AMD's R9 Fury and R9 Fury X may not be the absolute fastest graphics cards on the planet, but they're still very fast–and very new. If you want to support the red team by dropping your cold, hard cash (or plastic) on its new hotness, though, you may have a tough time. A quick survey of Newegg, Amazon, Tiger Direct, and NCIX in the US reveals that no R9 Fury or R9 Fury X cards from any of AMD's partners are in stock.

Right now, prices for R9 Fury X cards hover slightly above AMD's $649.99 suggested price, often in the $669-$679 range. Of all the retailers we checked, only Newegg has a listing at AMD's suggested price, in the form of Sapphire's R9 Fury X ...
