Prey is slated to be released on July 10, 2006, according to 2K representatives. Prey is a video game that tells the story of Tommy, a Cherokee mechanic that is abducted to an alien ship orbiting Earth, which leads him to ultimately try and save Earth. The aliens on this particular ship also seem to enjoy using humans as tasty meals. It is being produced by 3D Realms, developed by Human Head Studios, and is running on a heavily modified version of the Doom 3 engine. The game will be available for PC and the Microsoft Xbox 360.
