Default Prey PC Port Initial Impressions Allude to Smooth Game Play and Half Life 3

The game Prey has been released onto Steam and the initial performance report from PC Gamer is astounding. With a few generations old Nvidia GTX 970 video card and a GSYNC monitor, the writer Phil Savage was able to average 100fps, with dips to 90fps, while playing at 1440p on Very High Settings. AMD performance was astounding also with no performance spikes, but the author tested with VSYNC enabled, which artificially limited the video card to 60fps. The keyboard controls are completely rebind-able although the controller settings are not. The graphics settings has a few options like SMAA 2TX, but not much more as you're in a space station for this game. Bethesda didn't send review copies out to the gaming press so we will have to wait for a final verdict on the game.
