Default Pentium E2210 to be discontinued next year

Introduced less than a year ago, the 2.2 GHz Pentium E2210 desktop CPU, has been marked for retirement and will end its faithful service in 2011.

The OEM-oriented 45nm dual-core chip will continue to be available for orders until September 24th and will ship in boxed and tray versions until December 31st (2010) and March 25th (2011), respectively.
