| Is The PC Winning the Gaming War? (spoiler: no) PC Gaming Alliance claims the focus of gaming is shifting away from consoles. Reports of the death of PC gaming have not only been greatly exaggerated, but the platform is actually in ascendancy, and is set to take the gaming platform crown from its console rivals. http://www.pcr-online.biz/news/36090...the-gaming-war

| PCs are tagging along for the ride, consoles are deciding what titles are released and PCs get (crappy) ports. PC gaming will not die, it just hasn't been the major player for years now; for every 1 title sold on PC, 20 are sold on consoles.

| There's been a large boost in the pc gaming market last few years, look at Farmville and such stuff, how many millions have played it? It's not what you'd call the traditional game but its a game. |

| no Geoffrey; no. Farmville is not considered "a game" by any selfworthy gamer. seriously dude. PC gaming is holding on thanks to Steam, where indie titles can find a place to thrive. but A+ titles are console first, PC sometimes second, most of the time even not ported.
