| Panasonic Viera Link: Remote Control Over HDMI The HDMI interface is giving us what it is capable of which is not just great quality high definition video and audio, but also the ability to control various components connected via the interface. This is done by interconnecting devices to a central device such as a television which is HDMI control capable. Panasonic has showed off a universal remote control, part of the Viera Link interface, which allows consumers to control multiple HDMI connected devices with the single controller. At this time the Viera Link interface is only available on Panasonic components but we should see this expand in the near future because of the need to make things more user friendly.
