Default OSUNGO™ Ltd is pleased to announce today at CeBIT 2013 the preview of FlowerPower™

FlowerPower is OSUNGO’s 2013 series of decorative and energy-saving mobile chargers. When in standby mode, power consumption is less than 5mW. It is equivalent to a saving of more than 95% electric energy compared to European standard level 5 (ErP norm ≤300mW) and to best competition in the market today, even putting FlowerPower ahead of EU’s upcoming regulation (ErP norm ≤100mW) to be released in June 2013.

“As the Flower Power Movement brought about change to the world through peace, love and harmony with nature, we wish to bring people together through these groovy mobile chargers to create a multiplier effect in the fight against energy waste.

Today’s connected life is getting more power hungry than ever. Even with nothing connected, chargers continue to suck down electricity power when plugged to the socket. While the power drain from each individual charger might not amount much, it’s the cumulative effect from everyone doing it with everything that really adds up. For an increasingly connected life, the impact is enormous,” said Henri-Nicolas OLIVIER, CEO at OSUNGO.

Designed by award-winning French industrial designer Xavier Houy, FlowerPower combines functionality, style and decorative element to raise awareness of our role in stopping energy waste, and thereby making the world a greener place to live.

This series of chargers is especially made for portable devices like mobile phones, tablet devices and cameras. Its groovy design with a sleek-looking silicone flower cover can be used as a winder to protect the cable from tangles and damage.
