Default OmegaSearch

If you use mozilla, you currently do not need to worry about OmegaSearch. As with most spyware, IE is the only browser that can get infected by it.

Mozilla and Firefox are safe so far.. But I'm sure it's only a matter of time before spyware authors find it worthwhile to try to find exploits for alternative browsers.
