| http://www.overclockers.com.au/artic...?id=838342&P=1 consensus seems to be i3 530/540 are the only ones worth buying then... Last edited by FireTech : 4th January 2010 at 11:16. |

| Anandtech discourages buying any of the Clarkdale Core i5 variants as they offer horrible price/performance ratio. The only valuable options are the two Core i3 models, and those mostly for HTPC or very entry level setups; mixed results overall thus, not really the C2D replacement I was hoping for. The onboard IGP and memory controller moved off-die really screws up that plan. Bring out Core i3 with single 32nm die with onboard memory controller and without IGP (next to models with the IGP for business) and it will be a more worthy successor.

| the same can't be said for the mobile versions, these simply knock the socks off the C2D variants http://www.anandtech.com/mobile/showdoc.aspx?i=3705&p=3
