Default Office desk made out of Processors - a must see!

I got my hands on a CPU and stripped it of its power-pod and heatsink. The CPU has a metal cover that polishes up to look quite decent. It's mounted on a sandwich of two PCBs, one about the same size as the metal cover, and the other about twice as wide. My initial plan was to separate all the CPUs from the second PCB, but in the end, I decided that I liked the look of the larger green PCBs, and would mix the large boards with the small boards.<br>

To make the writing surface flat, I decided pretty early on to put a glass plate over the top of the chips. I talked to a window manufacturer, who recommended 8mm float glass with the edges ground. The price was reasonable (ca. 80 Euro), but it was going to weigh about 30kg. With another 20-30 kg for the chips, weight was becoming a problem. Because two 21" CRTs used to cause the desk to curve a bit, and because the glass needed to sit flat on the chips, I was going to have to strengthen the desk somewhat.
