OCZ’s PC Power & Cooling Launches UPS Unit
 

In a bid to further diversify its product lineup and revenue streams, OCZ Technology Group, which is primarily known for high-performance computer components used by enthusiasts, on Monday unveiled its first uninterruptible power supply (UPS) unit that is aimed at workstation users. While the first UPS from OCZ’s subsidiary PC Power & Cooling is a cost-effective one, it may open the door to a new market for the company.

“PC Power & Cooling has a long history of delivering premium power management solutions to enthusiast and commercial customers, and the Pro-Source continues that tradition by addressing customers needs for superior UPS,” commented Ryan Edwards, director of product management for OCZ.
