Default NYT: Yang Says Microsoft Didnít Want to Negotiate

It may be a "he said, she said" kind of situation, but Jerry Yang wants you to know he was negotiating in good faith and had a genuine offer on the table when Steve Ballmer walked away.

ďThey chose to walk away after we put a price on the table, and they didnít want to negotiate,Ē the Yahoo CEO tells todayís New York Times. ďFrom my perspective, we were open all along to selling to Microsoft. We just feel Yahoo, either stand-alone or with Microsoft, is worth more than what they put on the table.Ē
