NVIDIA nForce Pro Sighted at Computex - Server Grade Chipset

Several weeks ago, DailyTech reported on preliminary information about NVIDIA's upcoming nForce Pro chipset, which while not entirely different from its current nForce platform, does have some features that put it into the workstation category.

At Computex this week, we managed to spot boards from SuperMicro, Tyan and Gigabyte, all sporting dual-Opteron sockets and a boatload of workstation and server features. Tyan's S2925 for example features integrated graphics, this time care of NVIDIA. Tyan usually uses chips from ATI on its server boards. Tyan's S2915 board interestingly is filled to the brim with SATA connectors -- 14 in all.
