Nvidia holds crisis ATI conference in Amsterdam

TOO MANY people asked me whether I was in Amsterdam for an Nvidia partner conference but the graphics firm kept dead quiet about this one.
We have been to these events before unofficially, and much to Nvidia's displeasure, but this one was too short notice for us to show up.

In any case, this is what we've found out. Nvidia plans to update its partners on Geforce 7800 GTX 512MB and some other upcoming products such as a dual TV tuner, Geforce 6150 motherboards and it might even reveal some of its 90 nanometre plans.

It wants to keep its partners happy as it doesn't want anyone to switch to the Reds. ATI just announced and still has to ship its R520 and the rest of the Radeon X1000 generation but it is definitely putting some pressure on Nvidia. µ
