| NVIDIA GT218 is low end card, between 9400 and 9500 GT GT218 is equipped with 32 stream processors, which is similar to 9500GT, and doubled from 9400GT. Rumor has it that GT218 has 8 texture mapping units (TMU), but it seems doubtful considering the features of G9x’s structure. Actually it should be featuring 16 TMUs. The core/memory clock of GT218 (550/800MHz) is the same as 9500GT GDDR3 Edition. The shader clock is 1375MHz, a little bit lower than 9500GT&9400GT. Considering the engineering sample of 9500GT&9400GT also featured 1375MHz shader clock, so it won’t be surprising if NVIDIA updates it to 1400MHz when bringing out GT218 officially. The memory interface of GT218 is only 64bit, compared to 128bit of 95000GT/9400GT. Thanks to GDDR3, its memory bandwidth is on a par with 9400GT. http://en.expreview.com/2009/02/05/s...-surfaced.html
