| NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 in 2011, features 384 SP It should come as no surprise that the GTX 560 will be a similar upgrade to GTX 460 as GTX 580 was to the GTX 480. Fudzilla reports that GTX 560 will be based on GF114, which is basically a GF104 with minor optimizations. All 8 SMs will be enabled, which means the mythical 384SP/64TMU/8PolyMorph card will finally materialize. In addition to the 8th SM, the GTX 560 will also feature higher clock speeds which ultimately will lead to a performance increase of 15% to 20% over the reference GTX 460. While this sounds like a decent increase, the heavily OC GTX 460 versions like the EVGA GTX 460 FTW can already boast similar gains over the reference GTX 460. It is likely, then, that the GTX 560 will also have a plethora of confusing OC editions, though the consumer will surely prefer a more streamlined product line. http://vr-zone.com/articles/report-n...-sp/10295.html
