NVIDIA Geforce GTX 280 listed at €575

The first retailer has listed Nvidia's new GTX 280 and thanks to this early bird we now have a general idea about GTX 280 pricing. Unfortunately, the retailer wasn't kind enough to show some specs or even the picture of the card, so we have to wait a bit longer to see those.

The listed card comes from Asus, and the full name of it is ENGTX280/HTDP/1G GTX280 CTLR1GB DDR3 PCI-E DVI-IX2 HDTV. As mentioned, the price stands at €574,94, but bear in mind that this is the first price that we have seen, and that this retailer isn't the cheapest one around.

Well I heard the import price is 500 euro for distrubutors atm, and that they dont expect the price to fall below 450 anytime soon.

9800GX2 offers better performance for lower price up to 1920x1200

As I heard the drivers for the GTX 280 are not quite finished yet, so it will perform better in a while also.

Next to that Im hoping to see a glymph of the Physics engine at Age of Conan, and future released games ^_^

I still think its worth the money for a high end card like this :)

at €400 I would agree;) (price I paid for my 8800 GTX, best investment for VGA up to now in the high end, card still runs all games at 1600x1200)
