 |  NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250 Selling "like mad" Renaming the G92b-based Geforce 9800GTX+ to Geforce GTS 250 was one of the best things Nvidia did in 2009. The rename worked and everyone wants to buy Geforce GTS 250 as this name definitely sounds better than the old 9800GTX+. The hard reality is that consumers are too naive to notice the tricks of Nvidia's mighty marketing machine, but as we said, Nvidia doesn’t care much as the strategy works.
