Default Nvidia fails WHQL tests but Catalyst certified

An Nvidia WHQL FUD document against Catalyst claimed that after Catalyst 4.8 driver, ATI will need to remove their optimisations or it will lose its WHQL stamp. The Catalyst 4.9 driver is out and ATI still has WHQL, meaning that its driver is fine from Microsoft WHQL test point of view

Microsoft can confirm this said us before that all of their nine drivers introduced in 2004 are WHQL and all of their drivers will remain WHQL certified. Nvidia facts are not so bright, they had four partially WHQL while their latest publicly available 61.77 is not WHQL at all.

every reseller out there giving windows with their boxes cares, HP, Dell, IBM, Siemens, and all those people who click no when seeing "this driver is not certified" when installing.

so that leaves only the enthusiasts with a new driver set, which makes 1% of all nVidia GPU users

aren't the 3dmark competors obligated to use fully WHQL approved drivers also if they want their scores to be valid?
