Nvidia Expands into High-Performance Chips

These processors are said to be capable of up to 518 gigaflops of parallel computation, gigaflop being the unit used to describe a billion floating point operations processed per second.

Another variation of the product will be the Deskside Supercomputer that incorporates two Tesla GPU's attached to a PC via a PCI-Express connection. The price range might be around $1,499 for a single Tesla GPU and around $7,500 for the deskside computer, but considering that it will enable scientist to do simulations in days instead of months or in seconds instead of minutes, the price is well worth it and reasonable enough, as quoted from the president of Nvidia, according to Infoworld.
