NVIDIA and ATI: Image Quality and CPU Scaling Performance @ PCPer

Quote:

As witnessed in our initial preview of the new graphics cards from ATI and NVIDIA, the latest cards offer exceptional performance. The one variable which went unanswered though was image quality. Having put each board through its paces on all available settings, we can safely say that each company is finally on par with one another. Here, we have a complete tie rather than a total landslide. ATI's image quality seems slightly better at lower settings than NVIDIA's. However, at their highest settings, the NVIDIA cards get the nod slightly over the ATI parts. In each case, the difference is slight at best meaning that you really can't go wrong picking one or the other. No matter which you choose, you'll have a card that is insanely fast which produces absolutely stunning images.
