New Vulnerabilities Found in Latest Java Update "Wait. What? I thought you patched that exploit". That must sound like the exchange this morning over at Oracle when the engineers showed up for work. Bottom line is the patch for Java 7 released yesterday doesn't work, so the best protection at this point in time is to disable Java and wait for a patch that actually works.
