Default Need for Speed SHIFT Gameplay Performance and IQ

Coming at the end of November will be a second patch released for Need for Speed SHIFT. This patch brings with it many bug fixes and even performance improvements in several areas. AMD has stated all along that it did not feel its new video cards were delivering the kind of performance it should in this game. This new patch, plus a new video card driver, will solve this problem.

I don't have my 5870 yet and SHIFT works fine on my 8800GTS-512MB... The game came with DirectX 9, which is no surprise as there's no real difference between dx9 & dx10. Just a slight diff for dx10.1...

I hope and mumble the ocasional prayer that I'll get the card before the end of this month, so that I can check the difference in a couple of games.

main reason for that is because it's a console port, and consoles don't go higher than DX9
